  • The dyson DC49 has 0.5 litre capacity not 5 litres!

  • Great review! I really needed this and its between the Bosch and AEG for me 😉

  • I have bosh one. It is powerfull and silente but ot’s extremly havy. So wouldn’t asvise it to elderly people or to anybody who has problems with joints.

  • I own the Bosch Silent one. It is possible to carry on a conversation while vacuuming. I also own an Oreck upright, which is so loud, the neighbours in the next village complain about it. (Joke.) The biggest problem I have with the Bosch is, trying to vacuum carpets. Even at the lowest power (which is selectable) the head attachment digs-in and makes it difficult to move the head over the carpet. (A wee note to the manufacturer:- A couple of wheels at the front of the floor attachment would solve that problem.)

  • Hi Geoff – Many thanks for your feedback regarding the Bosch and also great to see someone with an Oreck. Great vacuum cleaners, albeit not the most stylish or quietest on the market.

  • There is a new vacuum cleaner By Eluxgo, SVC1019L, only 64db & 0.85kg

  • Not sure that is a model available in the UK ?

  • Protection Status
