  • Spin Speed: 1200RPM
  • Washing Capacity: 7kg
  • Noise Level: 74dB (max)
  • Weight: 68kg
  • Overall Size: 84.8×59.8x55cm

Here we are, the first of the best Bosch washing machines. I wanted to begin with an affordable model that offers you great cleaning and efficient running.

After all, even those of us on a budget deserve something that works well. Have a look below and see if this could be the one for you.

The Good

A crisp, white, design helps this model of Bosch washing machine to stand out from the crowd. It doesn’t just carry the Bosch name, but all of the little extras that go with it.

It boasts an impressive 1200RPM on the maximum spin cycle, removing excess water so that the drying process is faster. However, there are faster machines out there, and the Serie 6 WAT, later on, is the perfect example of this.

The 7kg drum capacity is also ideal for the average home, allowing you to stay on top of the laundry.

The triple-A energy rating means that you save money on your bills, and it is also gentler on the environment.

It even automatically adjusts its settings to suit the clothes inside it, for a gentle clean that helps them last longer; all thanks to the unique paddle system used in the drum.

With a clear LCD display and a vast number of wash settings to choose from, it can cater to every situation.

The Not So Good

There have been no negative customer reviews for this product so far.

Our View

It’s an absolute bargain, and this Bosch washing machine encapsulates everything that makes these appliances great. Packed with settings and features for you to explore, there is no stain that can’t be removed by this little powerhouse.

The absence of negative customer reviews is an excellent sigh as well, signifying satisfaction across the board. It’s a budget washing machine that’s unlike any other, and you certainly get fantastic value for money.

Bosch Serie 6 WAT28371GB 9Kg Washing Machine

2. Bosch Serie 6 WAT28371GB 9Kg

  • Spin Speed: 1400RPM
  • Washing Capacity: 9kg
  • Noise Level: 76dB (max)
  • Weight: 70kg
  • Overall Size: 84.8×59.8x59cm

If you are looking for a quiet washing machine that won’t leave you with a headache when on the final spin, I have what you need.

This Bosch washing machine is ideal for open-plan homes, as well as those that just don’t want to be disturbed by washing vibrations. See if it piques your interest.

The Good

This Bosch washing machine has a 9kg capacity, which is perfectly suited to homes that are slightly larger and need more laundry done.

It also sports an impressive triple-A energy rating, saving you some money each month on your bills, as well as being kinder to the environment. The maximum spin speed of 1400RPM also means that excess water after a wash becomes a thing of the past.

The only thing that could make this better is smart capabilities, something the Bosch i-Dos at the end of this guide has. It’s a seriously handy feature to have.

The quiet is the best part, and you will hardly notice it running when washing clothes. Even in an open-plan home, you aren’t going to find yourself bothered by the machine running.

It also comes with an array of programs for you to choose from, including those that save time and energy. The only thing missing is the allergy setting found on the Serie 8 Integrated model in this guide.

The drum is also gentle on clothes, reducing wear and tear to help them last longer.

The Not So Good

Not all of the wash cycles are able to take the full 9kg load. This is especially true for the quick washes that can only hold 2kg.

Our View

While it remains within the affordable price range, it is certainly on the higher end of that. The price isn’t for everyone, but I can’t deny that it’s a fantastic machine.

There are some restrictions with the washing loads, and these can come as a disappointment to some. However, the standard washes are perfect for the 9kg weight limit.

Additionally, it is an efficient machine that can cope with a massive number of cleaning situations. If you have a larger family, I would recommend this Bosch washing machine model.

Bosch Serie 8 WIW28500GB Integrated 8Kg Washing Machine

3. Bosch Serie 8 WIW28500GB Integrated

  • Spin Speed: 1400RPM
  • Washing Capacity: 8kg
  • Noise Level: 67dB (max)
  • Weight: 76kg
  • Overall Size: 81.8×59.6×54.4cm

I’m never one to leave the integrated machines out of the picture, and I know that many of you are quite fond of them.

Those provided by Bosch are just as good as their freestanding models, and I am sure you’re going to love it. Don’t believe me? Why not have a look for yourself?

The Good

This integrated washing machine has a smooth design that leaves a really modern feel when installed in your home. Perfect for placing behind a door and under worktops, it was made to become part of the family.

The 8kg capacity means that it can hold a good amount of laundry; excellent for small and medium households. Although, the Serie 6 model above does have an even larger one if you feel you need it. It even boasts an excellent 1400RPM for drier clothes.

The quiet running ensures that you hardly notice it during each cycle, and the drum is very gentle with your clothing. The allergy setting is excellent for those with sensitive skin, using higher temperatures to kill allergens and bacteria quickly.

It is energy-saving for peace of mind with your bills and the environment and offers a range of wash cycles to make life easier for you.

The Not So Good

The price is quite high, and this is the only thing that customers would rate as a negative.

Our View

This Bosch washing machine is one of the most expensive on the market, but this is often the case for integrated models. It can be a downside, but it will also last you for many years.

One little feature I forgot to mention is that it has a projected display, so that you can always see how much time is left and the cycle it is running if you are away from it.

It’s got a lot of nifty features that make it stand out from the crowd, and the reliability alone is enough for me to strongly recommend it.

Further Models of Bosch Washing Machine

Here are some further models of Bosch washing machine for you to consider, just in case the ones above do not quite meet your requirements.

Bosch Serie 6 WAT2840SGB 9Kg Washing Machine

4. Bosch Serie 6 WAT2840SGB 9Kg

  • Spin Speed: 1400RPM
  • Washing Capacity: 9kg
  • Noise Level: 75dB (max)
  • Weight: 70kg
  • Overall Size: 84.8×59.8x59cm

Two things that this washer immediately boasts is the massive 9kg capacity and a glorious spin speed of 1400RPM. There’ll be no excess moisture with this Bosch washing machine, that’s for sure.

The triple-A energy rating means that it will be kind on the environment while also saving you money on your energy bills each month. You’ll even have the LCD display to show you how energy efficient each of the cycles is before you choose them.

Even when spinning, it is a relatively quiet machine, so don’t expect to be bothered by violent spin cycles when your washing is on.

It should be noted that the Bosch Integrated model previously seen is even quieter when running, which is perfect for minimal noise.

It is a little on the pricey side compared to some other models, but the large capacity and extra features certainly make this little machine worth the expense. It’s one to consider, especially for slightly larger households.

Don’t let the price stop you from exploring this smart washing machine, because it might just be everything your home needs and more. It has WiFi connectivity, which means you can hook it up to the Bosch app for full control of your washing machine.

It allows you to do everything, from scheduling your washes, allowing the machine to select the right cycle, and preventing a wash from finishing if you need to leave it for a while.

Additionally, there is a feature that will ensure you never run out of washing tablets again when you use the app; keeping your busy life organised. The maximum spin speed is 1400RPM, which means you won’t need to worry about any excess moisture.

With a modern design and built to last, it is a superb choice.

Smart and Economical

Bosch appliances are smart, and that’s not an exaggeration. Your fridge, oven, dryer, and other Bosch appliances can be hooked up to the WiFi to create a truly innovative home network.

You can tell your smart washing machine what’s in the load through the Bosch app, and it will determine the right program. Got something in there that shouldn’t be? The app can tell you that too.

Need to pause the final rinse and don’t want to return to musty clothes? They have that covered too, as all you need to do is pause the cycle on the app. Everything your machine does can be effortlessly controlled at your fingertips.

You can even set a cycle to start up to 24 hours in advance, saving you a whole load of time if you have a busy schedule.

Wash Programs

Bosch is able to offer you loads of wash cycles, and I mean it, there are masses of them. You have the usual functions, the standards, and then you have all the extras.

As someone who lives with an allergy/asthma sufferer, the sensitive wash is one of my favourites.

Then you have things like power washing, down, eco washes, and sports. There’s a whole lot more, but it all depends on the model you choose.

They are also equipped with a large display that will show you the temperature, time remaining, and the current spin speed.

Drum Size

Typically, you are going to find that the most common drum size is 7kg. It is a standard size, and one that suits the average household perfectly.

However, if you find this is a little too small for your home and needs, there are bigger ones available. The 8kg and 9kg models are examples of the larger capacity that Bosch offers, and you won’t find anything bigger than 10kg.

Laundry is dealt with gently as the drum is soft on clothes to prevent damage from wear and tear. It has also been designed for optimum water distribution as well as minimising potential crumpling and damage of delicate clothing.

Spin Cycles

There are some impressively quick washing cycles, and the final spin cycle on all of their machines is perfect for ridding clothes of excess moisture. Many spin cycles only take 45 minutes, and those that are longer tend to be for really tough stains.

The fastest spin cycle, though? It’s only 15 minutes. Designed for clothes you need to wear that day; it promises quick and easy cleaning when you need it most. A pretty impressive feature.

You’ll find that every Bosch washing machine comes with an impressive two-year warranty. It doesn’t stop there, however, as you can extend it for a further two years after that.

This covers things like parts and labour, so you don’t need to worry about the expense. It’s quite a good standard warranty to have, as many companies only cover the first year, and the extension is respectable too.

To Conclude

Hopefully, this guide has given you all the information you need to choose the best Bosch washing machine for your home. The five models I have selected are all top-quality machines that I know will provide you with years of great cleaning power.

While I am sure the Bosch washing machine reviews will be able to aid you in deciding which model is going to work for you, I wanted to throw in my thoughts as well. While I love every machine here, there are some features that I value above all else.

The models that include WiFi are the ones I would choose first. This is because they are so handy when you lead a busy life and they really help you to stay on top of the cleaning.
