All SMART vacuum hoses are 35mm interior diameter, which can mean as much as 15% greater vacuum performance than ordinary 32mm hoses. We are the only company in the UK having our own standard vacuum hose made specifically for central vacuums. This has a more streamline interior and is crushproof. The hose ends (HE52 & HE60) simply screw on with a left-hand thread and the bent chrome end swivels independently to prevent kinking of the hose. The standard crushproof hoses (HO-20, HO-30 & HO-60) activate your SMART as soon as it is plugged into your inlet valve.
The remote control hoses (HO-05RC & HO-10RC) have a 'two-position' switch which allows you to turn your SMART on or off from the hand-set. This can be useful if you want to move furniture or the door bell or phone rings while you are doing the cleaning, and eliminates the need to unplug the hose. The switch is recessed to protect it from damage, and the unique "over-grip" handle is designed to help keep the hose weight down and relieve stress on your wrist.
