Can Dyson Deliver Silence with the New Light Ball Vacuum Cleaner?

Dyson Light Ball

The Light Ball is the newest model from Dyson, and it promises to be unlike any vacuum they have made before – mainly because they are claiming it is 40% quieter than its predecessor. Made for the ultimate levels of noise reduction, is Dyson really able to provide us with their quietest vacuum cleaner yet?

Dyson has a team of engineers who are dedicated to making their vacuums the best they can be, and they were able to achieve these new levels of quiet by using five semi-anechoic (non-reflective/echo-free) to build an incredibly silent vacuum and, according to Dyson, all without compromising its powerful suction and cleaning ability.

Of course, a quieter clean isn’t the only feature that the Dyson Light Ball has to offer. It also has optimised airflows, allowing microscopic allergens and dust particles to be collected, with pieces as small as 0.3 microns being captured with ease – so it’s good news for those who suffer from allergies or asthma.

The cleaner head has also been remodelled, allowing for more dirt and debris to be picked up in an efficient manner. The nylon bristles are able to get deep into the carpet, bringing up all of the embedded hair and dirt from the base of the carpet for a deeper, more thorough clean. Plus, it comes in a regular version and an Animal one, meaning that homes with pets can also benefit from a powerful, yet quiet, clean.

When it comes to the pricing, it all depends on which model you want. The standard multi-floor is priced at £339.99, while the Animal costs a little more at £369.99. However, if you take a browse online, you may be surprised to discover that there are a number of places offering excellent deals.
